As you know, I sent a tie to President Obama in hopes that he would wear it for the Inauguration. Unfortunately, he didn’t wear it. But he has it at the White House, and maybe one day, when we least expect it, I’ll turn on the television and see him wearing it. But then again, maybe I won’t. I’m sure there were hundreds of others doing the same thing I did. And whether he wore it or not, I’ve still been blessed beyond anything I could ever have imagined.
Though I have had financial, personal and professional blessings, the greatest blessing God has given me is you guys. You have no idea how important you are to the success of William Wilson Clothing. When I have an idea, you guys give me your opinion (whether you agree or disagree). When I launch a new goal, you guys are always supportive. When I’m trying to do what many see as impossible, you do what you can to help. Whether it’s re-tweeting a tweet I sent (@TheClothier), sharing a Facebook post, reading the blog, or watching one of the news broadcasts I have been blessed to be on, you guys always show up and support. Even after my attempt to get President Obama to wear the tie didn’t go as planned; all I got were positive responses, well wishes, and words of encouragement. This means a lot to me. One of the reasons it means so much is because most of you that support me have never even met me. Some of you have never even been in the same room (or continent- in some cases) with me. Yet you fully support me, and my endeavors. THAT is a blessing. There is no greater feeling than to know people care about you. You can’t buy that. You can’t sell that. It’s real. It’s true and it’s genuine. It’s from the heart.
So again, I just wanted to personally thank every one of you for giving me the opportunity to be in your life. To share my hopes and dreams, successes and failures, ups and downs. You will see me win, and you will see me lose. But the important thing is that I have amazing people like you watching my back and looking out for me. I love you guys for it. Until next time…..
God bless and dress well,
William Wilson, CEO
